Default would 20' fit ?

well i got an 2006 stang and was wondering if 20 x 9 or 20 x 8.5 would fit but iam really shooting for 20 x 9. . but anyways i had a problem with my other car with the size of the tire not being right.. they would scrape against the wheel weld, every time i would hit a bump or anything. so i was wondering what tire size should i go with? i want to go anything higher than a 40 series tires just so i wont dent up my $1000+ investment

20s fit great on the new body style mustangs, and you could go up to 21 without having any big problems. 20x9 will fit fine and give your huge wheel wells the look it deserves. 20s for sure!

20s are heavy and make your car slow

The 20's will slow the car down a ton. Lots of added weight and angular momentum. I don't car how they look, I would not use them for this reason.

Dave at MPH (aka GIJoe aka the owner of the red stang on the MPH website) ran a 12.85 on 20 inch wheels with an 05 automatic Roush naturally Aspired

not saying the car will be slow with 20s, but it will be a couple 10ths slower then with a light wheel

Just please don't put anything on there that looks like something that some rapper would put on his Escalade.

Dave has THE best looking wheels out for the 05 stangs right now. I love his car, the only 05 that I really like.

I also think 20" dont look bad on the 05 06 stangs. One of my friends asked if I was going with 20" on my ride since i have a v8, I had to let him know my stang wont get anything larger than a 18.

Idk about yours but you "can" fit 20" s on the 99-04 Stangs...and have a 3 inch drop...how functional that's guna be...thats a different story...
