Default Only married guys will understand....

So, yesterday was my B-Day. The wife hands me a card and inside is a few hundred bucks. The card says "This is to start your Supercharger savings fund." The funy part is that spending the money on a S/C is really not the problem...the hard part is getting over the guilt of spending that kind of money on me. More important then the money in the card, is my wife basically saying "go get one".

My wife rocks!

Hopefully now by the Spring, I will be a member of the "just got blown" club.

Wow! Happybirthday, your wife sounds cool. I dream about getting supercharged. When i look and see they cost $3000.00 i dont know if im capable of saving that much.
Does anyone know how much to have it done, i mean installed and everything?

First of all, as long as you take care of business around the house.... never look at it as "guilt". When you have your priorities straight, there is nothing wrong with blowing 4 gees on yourself.

But its cool that your wife supports your habit.

I worked a lot of overtime and weekends for my s/c.

Don't be a pansy, install it yourself! It isn't that hard really. You can probably get a new setup for around 4K with the accessores if you find a good deal. Otherwise look around for a used kit. A basic tuner kit would get you started but you need to buy injectors, MAF, and fuel pump. Don't forget the tune!

I'll be paying for my supercharger for a while

Your wife want to donate to the "Shambles needs an Intercooled Supercharger" fund? I sure could use the money...
