Default What do you use for auto theft prevention??

I read somewhere that this guys Classic mustang and the trailer got stole. They were apparently leaving a show and spent the night at a Hotel. I really wouldnt know how i would react to this because you can tell that the guy had a lot tied up in this.

It just made me realize that i should invest a little more in a alarm system or maybe lojack. Even though i am a weekend warrior.... and maybe thats where some people slip up at. Thinking that because they dont drive their car that often... they dont have to worry about it getting stolen.

What do you use to keep the thieves from trying to steal your Mustang, that you have spent countless dollars and time on???

Alarm, autolock, and if its going to sit for a long time, I pull the battery out. Have secondary battery for only the alarm.

the truth of the matter is that if they want your car they will get it period. most cars now a days get stolen by way of tow truck. the alarm is only going to stop the joy riders and rookies. so the best thing is auto insurance to try to recover a little bit of your money back.... but never any of the money spent on mods.

Stock Alarm, Lojack, and being a 285 Large Hispanic Male who with a temper can stick tire iron ....(insert Happy Thoughts here)... lol, but actually the Lojack is awsome because if the car gets stolen i can get the cops after it the second i call lojack...aka less time for them to strip it...
