My neighbors keep asking me "are you getting the new mustang". In order for me to get a new one: 1). It would have to be a Cobra and 2). I would need an Eleanor body kit to liven it up.

But most importanly, i like not having a car note

 

I agree with you 100%. That Eleanor body kit on a silver 05 with stripes is bad. Those are the only ones I like. Other than that, I will stay with the 94-98 mustangs.

Well if you would have asked me that question a couple of months ago I would have said you could'nt get me to buy one.

But after driving my wifes 06 V6 for a couple of weeks now.And being amazed at the power of the 6 and with how great it rides.The new GT would have to be Daaaaaaaaamn nice and fun too drive.

I still think the 99-04's look better if they are done right but I've seen some real nice 05 GT's too.The only way I would buy one though is if they made me one hell of a good deal for mine and sold me the 06 GT for sticker or the X-plan price.

 

But then also I would have to start modding it as soon as I bought it too make it different.A black on black 06 GT with black DD bullits and dark tint,lowered with H&R's and a kick *** exhaust does sound tempting though.

 

I would buy one after someone else had taken 50% of the depreciation. On paper, a new 05 GT Vert might be worth 20k more than my car, but the fun factor is only a slight edge.

Modding is too much fun. For me, I am sticking to cars I can play with. I buy the new ones for the wife. Besides, work springs for a new car for me every 24 months. Just got my order form for a new '06 Charger today.

Won't see it for a while though.

 

I already have one and love it.

If I got it for free. Not worth going back in debt for. Getting a new DD next year.

 

I like to always upgrade so If I have a GT now next will have to be something bigger and better so it would have to be Saleen, Roush or Cobra.
