I drive a all stock 96 gt and Im kinda a noob when it comes to mods, ecteria but ive been doing a lot of looking around when it comes to exhaust to start off so my car can sound decent... ive kind of narrowed my searches to either a borla exhaust system, or a bassani exhaust sytem, but i was wondering what all you pros reccomend for exhaust, all advice and ideas would be appreciated, thanks

 

I'm not a pro but I run the X-pipe and dual flowmasters and it sounds hella good.

Depends on what you want as far as sound..if u like the high pitched sound of a 4.6 Id suggest going with an O/r X-pipe...If u want a rather deep sound hollow sounding echo go with an O/r H-pipe..Im a fan of Bassani X-pipes htey have a great high pitched sound, you can even match it with a catback system or SLP catback..The SLP are notrous for being loud as ****, but a lil burbly...I have a bassani x o/r on my saleen, but Im upgrading to a Dr, gas X-pipe..A lot of people dont know this but most x-pipes bassani included arent ture Xpipes in other words there chambered...Dr. gas are true x=pipes, they sound phenominal, expensive but worth it..I believe MAC is coming out wiht a x that is truell...also, check in mac, bbk, flowtech if u want to go the cheaper route..Headers etc are a different story, but ther eare a few ideas for your car... But to descipher between borla and bassani..Id unno, I like btoh, depnds on what your looking for, borla has aome awesome catback systems...so its up to u, but either way heading in the right direction
