I saw a red, appeared to be V6, some chick was driving it. I'm still on the edge if I like them or not. I just don't get the same feeling I had when the 99's 1st came out.

Yeah I know the feeling... I only liked the one 05 cause it looked badass...
But I still like the 99-04 body style better

I have seen one black GT on the road. And one v6. I had to pull over and wait for the GT to get close. It was sweet.

I've seen a few GT's, and a whole lot of v6's. I'm not too happy with the 1/4 mile times I've seen, I was expecting alot faster.

Ford has restricted them a lot. The computer starts closing the thottle body when it gets close to redline... how stupid. With a flash (you cant put a chip in them), gears, and some easy bolt ons they are hitting 12s.

Just a tune will really do these cars wonders just like the C6, since i think it has some sort of problem like this with the stock tune. JDM got a 13.4 out of their gt stock, and now with:

-underdrive pulleys
-Tune (300/315)
-catback
-lowering springs
-rear QA1 shocks (needed these because they had wheel hope with the et's)
-17" streets (1.6X 60ft)
-and i think gears

they got it to go a 12.50@108. Full weight too...jack and all

I've seen quite a few... mainly V6's and most are in yellow.

Seen a few GT's including the one MMR is using to develop some new suspension parts.

I've never seen a V6 on the road. I've seen 3 GT's, and none of them wanted to race. One didnt want to race my friend's Hyundai Elantra, one was in heavy traffic, and one was a guy who seemed to be afraid of my 03 V6 for some reason... All i want to see is how bad one of them will kill me! Haha

I've seen a few GT's. I went to my dealer to get my tags for my 04 in october and there was 2 on the lot. They're actually pretty large cars. Not really "All That" IMHO. They look good from the front or the rear. But looking at one just sitting there, ah hell they're sweet I admit it!! LOL .

If and when I get beside 1 at a stop light.. It's on then. Yeeehaw!!!

Its like having a circle of friends then a new guy is introduced to it. We will eventually like it. I remeber I did not like the sn95 body style and now I own one.

Have any of you actually test driven an 05? This is what I took away from it.

They are very strong and have lots of guts. A very fun car to drive.

BUT... I simply hated the interior. I was TOO retro with the big straight dash ans all the gadgety looking stuff. It did not have the wrap-around feel to it that mine has. So the drive and looks are great, but I hated sitting in it. Just my take.

They are all around the KC area..I have driven a GT, and started up a V6....V6 sounded TERRIBLE...I really think the V6's are going to have a problem selling. No one will mod the exhaust because they now have a single cut-out in the rear bumper, and the side trim pieces are all in black vs body color for GT's...I think the V6 for the price increase is not worth it....

The GT was weird to drive....it does not feel like a mustang...seat position is different, very tight driver, and the gears help tremendously get the car moving....overall I was very impressed with the fit and feel of the car....seems to be a solid mid to high 13 second car for most drivers for the 5speeds....Even shifting aggressively the car (suspension wise) really responded well...

They actually sound pretty good with stock exhaust. When i was at the dealership checking one out, I quickly discovered that the keys to a black 05 GT were carelessly left under the e-brake. I really, really wanted to start it up to hear it, but I figured the salesmen wouldnt be too happy about that.. Stupid willpower...

Haven't seen an 2005 Mustang outside of the Dealership. I think they only come out at night. I saw a new Ford Five Hundred does that count? lol

Just ran behind one at VIR yesterday. It was a v6 but still handled very well. I was impressed, but not enough to get one.
