Default Happy Mileage Birthday!

Today as I drove my drunk *** friend home after my long 15 hour day at work my car hit 170,000 miles. Actually it is still there since it was right as I pulled in our driveway.
I realized as I talked about it with my very non car orientated friends that the only people that would understand my excitement are on here so i figured I would just vent my pride to people that understand that I still have it running very well

Around 65K on the Mustang, passed 111,111 mi on the eclipse today on the way to work. I work with a guy who has a 2000 V6 with 230K miles on it! All he has had to do was repace a passenger side header, of course.

I have a small leak in mine, and the engine light is on because of the AIR pump. I need new suspension under it but am waiting till spring when hopefully I can trace whatever wire is shorting not letting my passenger window roll down, and I got a lovely ding in the door guard that proves they keep the car from denting, now the paint is peeling off of it and i removed part of it to see what it is like underneath... they are staying on

Only things I had to replace were the water pump, front calipers, front and rear bumpers (for free courtesy of a parking lot collision), one axle/ rims/ rear brakes from stupidity, and a driver side window motor

I just hit 120k. Replaced my 4th alternator a month ago. Check engine light from a gas cap, and no TCS or ABS.

Good to read. My GT has amassed a whopping 21k miles. I have a good bit to go to catch up.

Here's to 30,000 more so you can be part of the 200,000 mile club with me!

Ahhhhh I remember when mine hit 170k

Mine will get there one day! especially if I can't find a beater for the winter... I will put a lot on next year because as a grad present to myself (assuming nothing goes crazy) I want to drive around Lake Superior next year

and sadly mine doesn't look nearly as amazing as that silver thing you have there, maybe one day she'll get a paintjob when I cut it up for a drag car
