As much as it pained me to do it..... I had to let her go. Mustang was traded in yesterday for a 2008 F-150 Lariat with the 5.4.

I tried to convince myself that I could keep the Mustang and have another kid but its just not going to happen. I'll have more pics of the truck when I pick it up first thing in the morning.....

Been wanting a truck for a while though and I'm excited about that. I was just happy with my car and I was getting ready to make some major performance mods to it.

 

I think it was a smart move. Nice truck there! Later on you can get another one and start again.

Yea I think it was also. I'm happy with it but I know I'm going to miss the stang. I keep telling myself that I'll get another one hopefully sooner than later.

I only had my S197... Wanted a fox but never came across the one I wanted since I'm so picky. Now that fox might come back into play though...

The truck is pretty nice though. I'm loving it so far. Looking for a nice soft tonneau cover right now and I've got to get my windows tinted. Those are my first 2 projects for it.

Those new trucks ride and drive better than most cars. Does yours have the really short bed?

 

Yea it has the 5 foot bed. And you're right about how smooth it rides. I had a Cadillac Deville before i got my 'stang and I was telling my wife that the way the truck rides and the comfort of the inside reminds me of the Cadillac. Appearance mods coming for it very soon.

Yeah I had thought you had a Cobra or something as well, maybe that was somebody else!

 

I wish I had a Cobra..... Its one up here for sale on a car lot of 17k right now. 2003.... I would love to have it. Just bad timing.
