Early Christmas present
So my brother and I went to say goodbye to my grandparents yesterday after muzzleloader hunting and they looked a little suspicious. They said they had something for us and gave us each one of their old 22's. 22's arent the best gun I know but these are old.
I did a little research and my brother's is a 1927 remington model 24 (loads through the stock) and mine is a 1913 remington model 12a (pump). They both shoot fine too.
I'll snap a few quick pictures of them and put them on later.

Both are very interesting to .22LR collectors. There's something about those pre-WWII .22's that's just fuggin awesome. Congrats.
Your 1913 is called a gallery gun. It's on the list of the 5 guns I'd have to take with me for the end of the world. Treasure that. BTW, it's a C&R qualified gun now I think.
