One of the guys on SMR just ordered a Competition Orange Boss. He is getting rid of his P51-A for it.

$48,000 isn't too bad at all for what you're getting IMO.

Sure the base GT will be a smidge under $30,000 now, and you could rip that up and rebuild it all. But for me that'd take a pretty long *** time versus just buying one and having it good to go.

Now I just want to see how well all the parts stand up to some serious abuse. I always despise FRPP parts because they're **** compared to MM or Griggs.

I hear ya. His P51 is 136 out of 151 made...something like that. As sweet as that Boss is I don't think I could get rid of something so rare.

I'm thinking it's the P51 Roush Mustang, not the plane.
