K, so its got a very april fools-y vibe about it, but i'd be psyched if it wasn't.

 

Were there any plans for a Cobra-R for the S197 generation? It would be cool to get an "R" in all of the later model generations.

 

I'll wait to see some more sources before I beleive this one. It would be cool if it was true.

Its probably an April Fools joke, though i really really hope it isnt. The return of the Cobra R would be EPIC. Regardless of whether this is a joke, they should really look into doing this in the near future, because that would be freaking amazing.

 

I can't see ford doing an "R" with those wheels and what-not, looks like April fools to me.
