So, I may be a Mustang Columnist soon...
That's right, me. If I decide to do it, I would be writing for the examiner/denver which is sort of an online freelance newspaper. There was an ad specifically saying that the site was looking for someone to write about Mustangs. After being referred to the site by a friend who already writes for them, I get to decide if it's something I'd like to do or not. So, opinions? I know more about Mustangs than I know about some of my family members, and it seems like it could be a fun way to spend my off-time. Not to mention that I'd get press credentials so that if anything big went down in the Mustang world around the Denver area would be able to get in and see what all of the fuss was about. Not to mention that I would also be able to get into auto conventions for free (like the upcoming Denver International Auto Show). Another perk would be that I'd get to write when I want to, no deadlines, no boss, and it pays per article and per article views. I think I've already made my mind up on this, but I'd like to see what some of the people around here would have to say about that.

Do it. I have an autocross friend that writes for Motorauthority.com, Nelson Ireson, and he loves it. He gets to review all kinds of cars and even bring them to the autocross sometimes is the contract allows. I got to ride in a '09 Viper at an autoX that he brought it to. For him it has led to a lot of contacts in the racing world and now he gets to go along or participate in all kinds of stuff and write about it. I wish I had his job.
