so I go to log into my ps3 account to play Modern Warfare 2 last night and kept getting some error code. tried it this morning still the same ****. after a while i googled the error code and its a worldwide glitch in the playstation network. http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/patterson/65870

The problem thats happening is the internal clock is setting itself to january 1st 2000. So they claim it will be fixed in the next 24 hours.

 

Some genius didn't either factor in the leap years or screwed it up cause it happened as March 1st hit. I wonder how they'll fix it with an update since you can't get on the system. Does the error come up once you turn the system on?

 

for me it happened when I tried to sign online to play online some error code ****, but i was thinking that too since we cant get online how can we get the update to get this fixed

 

i dont know but they say dont turn em on till their fixed,, my slims unaffected but the fat-boys are..

They fixed it, everything is working normally now. I would've been pissed if I wasn't able to play GoWIII when it comes out soon.

 

I heard about this all day from the PS3 fanboys at work. I was like w/e I have a PS3 slim.

 

that happened to me last night with the PS3,

I just turned it off and turned on the 360.

 

yeah its fixed now, but it was pretty damn weird. i did the same switched over to xbox

 

I didn't have any issues last night either. Idk what playstation i have.. i know its a ps3 and it works..lol.
