Default 08mustang_gt Tragedy Relief Fund. Donate here.

As you may know 08mustang_gt just lost his father in the most tragic of circumstances. They're in tough times right now and could use the help just getting him buried. The average funeral costs over 6500 bucks nowadays. Let's try and help them out with that.

Please send donations via Paypal to paypal at squarerootofone.com with "08musatng_gt Tragedy Relief Fund -<your board handle>" in the description. I will run the benefit for 6 days. Next Saturday at 0700 Pacific time I will release all of the funds to 08mustang to put toward the costs of his fathers burial.

Donate as much as you can afford. 5,10,20,100,1000 bucks. It all adds up. Please no donations less than $1. It's sarcastic, mean, inappropriate and uncalled for. Donate 100 bucks or more and I'll let you cuss me out to your hearts content in a public thread which will remain untouched by moderators for 1 week. Imagine the fun of haranging me for a week with total impunity.

Reply ONLY if you have already donated. We want to see your name up here. I'm promising 20 bucks and trying to nail down 100 for our boy. I wanna see some matching pledges.

I am definitely going to donate, but I am confused as to how. When I click on the link in 08's thread, it pulls up your PayPal e-mail. Explain the procedure, R3d?

Hey R3d, keep us updated on the funds. I might be able to come up with some more funds if I could pick the indidvidual I could flame. You've never inspired me to rand and rave about your behaviour. You're ruce crude and socially unacceptalbe but that's what make you a true mustang man. I think for the right amount of donation you can pick anyone on the forum to light up like a christmas tree...no questions asked and no retaliation unlest paid for in full.

I feel the same. I like R3d too much to bitch about him.

I'm going to try to sell some stuff that I don't need for my 'Stang and if I can get it sold before Saturday, I'll be donating again.

we got 200 bucks 200 bucks to him after all was said and done.

Considering the smallish nature of our board, and the fact that this was during the holidays, that's pretty good.

By the way guys, I really appreciate everything you guys did for me. Not just money-wise, but support wise as well. I felt pretty homosexual coming to you guys, but you guys helped out honestly more than anyone else did.

All of you guys really made me feel more comfortable with it. And like I said I felt pretty gay asking for help, but you guys responded and really helped me out. For that I'm very very grateful.

Don't worry if you didn't donate, I didn't expect anything like this in the first place. Santa might not bring you presents, but I don't look at anyone any differently. For those of you that did donate I appreciate it. From people I've never actually met in real life, that was a shocker.

Thanks guys. Now I'm going to go eat a bowl of ice cream and watch The Notebook.....lol.
