yeah, he said hes looking for a good looking DD. So i dont think the 6 mattered to him. His cars clean, my cars clean. They both have high miles, but the 132k is kinda scary for me. But I'm thinking heavily on it, I just wanted to know peoples opinions on this. Its a vert, and 5 speed, hopefully stock engine, and such may be a good weekender. I got me a 98 s10 for a DD now. SO i wont have to keep that mustang or mine on the road in bad conditions.
BTW when people convert those to 5 lug, and put saleen wheels on em, how do they keep em from rubbing the fenders? My friend has a 86LX dropped 2 inches with pony wheels and his rubs like CRAZY.

I wouldn't. If the engine is built up a bit, and wasn't a vert, and a differen't color, then I would. That 5.0 right now probably isn't much faster than your v6, but has more potential and cheaper to build.
Yeah, I know it wouldnt be much faster, if not even slower than my car. I wish the miles were lower on it. It looks to be a fun summer car, with that v8 sound, and the top down with a 5 speed. I'm still debating on it. But as far as value I think theyre at same. Most I could get out of my car is like 4k if that. Dunno, I need more people to chime in on this.
well my dad has a 92 5.0 and its is a vert they are fun but I defantly would not trade my sixer for it because of the difference in the interior differences. I just wouldn't want to get it and something be wrong with it that you can't see. I just would stick with the car you got and be safe that you know nothing is wrong.
Just make sure you have the income for repairs and rebuilds that might be required. That's the biggest worry, I think. Those 5.0's sound pretty. It's a GT which means that it's not as fast as the LX, right?
On those cars the GT was the 5.0 with a body kit, and the LX didn't have 2 b a V8.
To Krenogin: The car looks pretty clean and well taken care of... I just hate the wing on it. If you want to do it, do it. Even if it has a few problems, it should be relatively easy to fix, as long as those problems are minor.

An lx can be anything. My old car was an lx with a 5.0, however they can have any engine in them.
