I can totally relate to wanting to save on gas, hell I drive 100mi a day in my GT and the gas pumps roll out the red carpet 2x a week for me when they see me coming.

getting that kinda of gas mileage would be a dream, but I would have to find a way to keep the car though!

propose in a couple weeks huh, whatever you do dont get married on or around a holiday you will regret it! speak from previous experience of 12 yrs of this!

Now second, my girlfried just got a 2010 Civic Sedan, and all I can say is....AWFUL car. Its uncomfortable, the seats are way too ******* stiff, the car is as slow as a corpse, I hate digital spedometers, and the only thing power operated in her car is the ******* windows. No cruise control, no power seats, crap sound system, and that huge ******* window and dash make me feel like Im in a miniature bus. All in all its just a terrible car for anyone above 5'5 and 130 pounds. Haha. Didnt mean to turn that into a rant but I really hate the new civics.
I tell you what I drove our friends Pontiac Grand Prix GT v6 recently and that thing would fly, had some nice pick up and I must say the seats would hug you like they were the 03/04 Cobra seats, it was so comfortable. But I think if I was to get rid of my stang, I would have to get maybe a silver nissan 350z...I think they look so sharp and sleek looking.

Dude, your gf got gipped big time. Everything is power in mine. It has aux for the stereo standard. The engine shuts itself off automatically at redlights, then restarts when you let off the brake. It's hella more comfortable than the old v6. It's worth twice as much and holds its value. It's literally A THOUSAND dollars a year cheaper in gas because I travel so much that I put 15k miles at least on annually.

^ Lol, I could've handed it to your six with my budget. I need to save money to support a family, so a mustang is just not a valid priority starting off. Sorry for my loss... does your paint even match yet, or does it still look south of the border?

doesn't this thread remind some of the older members of someone..... Think the guy sold his mustang for a Honda just so he could visit his g/f more often.... I think his user name was Shadows..... Correct me if I am wrong.

^ You drive a celica with a decent engine, turbo, and a big *** spoiler.

And what's with raggin on me? Jack doesn't own a mustang, and what does he drive?

It's not like I think Hybrids are cooler or something. You guys are trollin on a member who has done nothing but love mustangs since he was a kid. I will have another one when my finances are solid. It's gonna be newer than 05, and it will damn sure have a supercharger. It's just that I actually care more about someone and how nice our quality of life is that I don't necessarily need a mustang right now. The hybrid saved the most money, and I happen to like it.
