Well, if that's the case I don't know what country singers are doing wrong, because many country songs have more "substance" in one verse than Kanye has in an entire album.

Where i grew up, Lancaster, which is Amish central, I went to a high school of predominantly white kids. We had about 5 blacks in the whole school and maybe 8 asians. But now I go to college, and I have a black roommate and a korean roommate, and I don't even see them as any different from me. I think it just matters how you were brought up and where you were brought up

I don't agree with what Kanye did, imagine what would have happened if someone would have jumped up when if he would have won an award? He would have been flipping ****, but since he did it to Taylor Swift, a "white" girl it seems okay.

Plain and simple, I don't like rap. I don't like country, techno, and a lot of other types of music. I will give artists credit though when credit is deserved. I will say sure Kanye doesn't rap about the typical things most rappers do, but I still don't like the guy. Yes popularity is a major factor in selling albums. If you don't have fans, then you're not going to sell albums. If you don't believe this, then you truely are an idiot.

So if you're such a bad *** in person, but not in the *** kicking sense, then how are you so bad ***? I guarantee you haven't accomplished more than I have. You're just the typical 20 year old who thinks they know everything.

I don't have a problem with other races. My uncle I would say is racist and I grew up around him, but I had the sense to know better. I just feel that how can some black people be taken seriously about racism on all that when they are out there calling each ***** and everything. It's been brought up on this board many times, but racism needs to go all ways. If there was a white history month, it would be racist, but black history month is ok. If there was an all white fraternity, that would be racist, but an all black one would not be. If people want equally, then they can't pick and choose what they want to be equal about.
