Today on a hernia I had... wasn't too bad.. they gave me some goodnight potion and I don't remember anything lol...

Spent 2 hours in surgery apparently the inguinal hernia I had was something that htey see in older guys *shrug* im in a little pain now and my ****** cat decided to jump on my lap..apparently..cats don't understand lol..

Im not one of those prople that have what ever you've had and talks about it every chance he gets, but I have had that surgery twice one right one left.
I dont mean to scare you but where ever you park your *** for the night be perpared to stay there, cause its gonna hurt like a sumbitch in the morning . Take your pain meds on time and no sex for the first couple of days. You should be fine in about a week.

Soooo right man. I woke up today like "HOLY **** WHAT HAPPENED" lol...I did manage to walk from my room to the kitchen today..and once to take a ****..

Im scared to **** still... lol..

 

Been there Bro. I had 2 different hernia surgeries. This was before my other 2 major surgeries, The hernia ones were outpatient surgeries, I got sick after I left. When they ask you what you want to drink after your awake again, never say Pepsi. Get water.. Got home and felt good, so I started moving around and eventually started to bleed through the stitches. . That scared me enough to lay the **** down and shut up about having to stay laid down for a while..

As for my 2 major surgeries. Uggh, 9 hrs on the table each time, 3 days in intensive care, 10 days total with a NG tube down my fcking throat. My 2nd time I pulled it out of my nose after 8 days.. I got a lot of flack from that.. Wife and doctors threatened me.. **** yall I said.

I got some more small hernia's that need fixing, but I'm tired of being cut on..

 

Hope you recover soon. Don't be afraid of the pain meds, they will help you keep moving, which is the best thing you can do.

 

ya i get up and walk around the house until i get woozy or until i just hurt too much..

today has been much better... less pain and i slept quite a bit more.

Nah see..mine is right next to my dick...so it feels like i had a horse kick me right there..

Apparently it is called a "inverted inguinal hernia" i took off the bandaging today and tried to take a shower so the steri-strips ect are exposed right now..

unfortunately i can only be on my feet for about 5 min before i get all shaky and stuff

Hope you are feeling better Been there keep taking it easy, believe me its been two months since I had my somewhat new shoulder done and it still is a b**** at times. Especially when I push it too much

 

better...still pretty sore, can't walk very well yet but I can stand for longer, move a little easier, get up easier, and sleep on my side without pain..

Also can have sex ..that was nice...just very, very easy.. oh and i took a **** LOL

I've been walking around a lot more and taking less pain killers yesterday I took a total of 4 or 5 the entire day...prescription says take 1-2 every 4-6 hours depending on pain... so far today, I haven't taken any..

That's a very good thing to stay off the narcotics unless you really need them, it's way too easy to take them for pain, that may in fact be tolerable, and maybe from the nice buzz you get too.. But that's how some people get the ball rolling. Escpecially someone who doesn't do recreational drugs.. They don't realize they're becoming dependant on them. Good job. And just take it slow for at least 6 to 8 weeks before your fully healed up..

 

Yea...I keep myself clear from those...addiction runs in the family so I figured it may not be a good idea to just start popping those things like crazy.. my pain isn't really bad, it normally gets worse at night but I try to sleep through it..

And yea, I'm off work for 8 weeks, can't do a whole lot of anything lol...

I would like to be able to get to the track later this month..but idk...it'll all depend on how I feel.. I still haven't gone outside since monday LOL..

 

Go Outside Man. You still need some Vitamin D. Let the sun hit ya for a little bit. And try OTC meds for pain, or if you have trouble sleeping, a good ole bendril pill will work, sometimes..

 

yea i'll be going outside tommorow, lol.. got some stuff to do anyways..
