anyone play arkham asylum yet? I was thinking about picking that up..

 

Gameinformer magazine gave batman game a 9.5 outa 10, ive heard its actually really cool, but not my cup of tea.

 

Hey my buddy got me HOOKED on Battlefield 1943. Its a download only game and SO much **** about it is CHEESY as hell, but its fun and it consumes HOURS of our time. Relatively cheap too, think it costs like 1200 MS points.

 

i got it today and played it for about an hour its a pretty good game.

 

yeah its oldish, but what makes it better than halo, cod, gears of war, etc...etc...
Is that fact that its not run and gun. I ******* hate run and gun games.....I dig strategy.

 

Yea, i hate halo....lame, i like strategy and tactical games

 

GRAW is a great game. Been playing it ever since the first one on the original Xbox, but Gears is more than run and gun. You have to have some strategy when playing it. Two totally different games though. GRAW is more realistic and you could just run around if you want.

 

I wish rainbow six would come out with a new game, i love their games so much. Tactical, send some guys to break in a few doors at once to take enemies by surprise, and customization on your gear, gun, color, and person. Plus it can be a game of nothing but reactions especially online.

 

I do like Rainbow Six, but the newer ones aren't as good as they use to be on Xbox.

 

Did you ever play the very first Rainbow sixes? Ha they were so cool and simplistic..Btw i researched prototype and yeah im pickin that up tommorow for sure. :P

 

Rainbow Six 3 and Black Arrow were the best on Xbox. No upgrades so everything was based on skill. I do like the Vegas ones on the 360, but it seems like people running around with no armor can take more hits than people with full armor on.

 

Yea i have noticed that a few times, connection can really come into play there, i always used to go with 3 bars of armor for 1, but 2 i never found a good preset. Vegas 1 was better IMO

 

Playing CoD4 right now, its pretty fun.. only thing I dislike right now is I have trouble identifying targets in it I'm sure I'll get better the more I play...

I just saved a tank or someshit ..lol

 

Welp, beat CoD4..lol..

 

Now go play it on Xbox live and REALLY get owned. I will never forget it. With the first XBOX, my step son at the time got Mech Assault and the story mode was ok. I beat it on normal difficulty then went back and beat it on the hardest. (that was tough BTW). Anyway, I thought I was THE badest ***** who ever played the game. Well my buddy came over one day and he is like "Dude! why dont you have that online?" I didnt even know it could do that at the time. After an hour or so of hooking it up and getting LIVE set up, I went to play Mech Assault . . . . . ONLINE! I got in there and was thinking I was about to deliver some *** kicking. It took all of about 3 mins to realize that I wasnt ****! I got my *** handed to me so bad! It hurt my ego a lil bit. LOL I kept at it though, I used to LOVE that game with Xbox live. At one time I DID however rank my way into the top ten. I got up to #8. I was pretty damn proud of that.

 

Prototype blows, man.
Its basically spiderman, with a different story....but same engine basically.
I played it for hours one day...and then it got very repetetive, and boring. Besides, you cant do **** without getting the army stuck in your ***.

 

Lol yea, I plan on getting xbox live here VERY shortly.. and i'm terrible on a console..on any game..i mean i can beat the game but when it comes to online or multi player, i fail..i can't move quick enough..

On a computer...its game over lol.. unfortunately, laptops don't like games most of the time..and mine falls into the "most of the time" category..

 

Yeah I played it at my friends house and its really awesome. I need to get it so I can play it on my roommates 360. Tons of cool gadgets to use and you have to think alot of times to solve a problem or get around a situation. Over all I played for 2 1/2 hours and it was awesome.
