The new 2010 body style?
My only complaint about the new model is the backend.. I don't like how it narrows out.. other than that..
I want the new interior on an '09 body
and I swear someone earlier was saying the new 2010 sixxers came stock with 300hp, Ford is basically using the same engine as the 08-09's 210hp on the sixxer 315 on the gt..
built myself up a nice gt to see what I could get.. 36k with the options I want.. that new interior makes me drool

I don't understand why so many people hate the 2010 rearend. Yeah, the plastic at the bottom is ugly, but think about how plain-jane and borring *** the 05-09 rearends are. Nothing but square boxes. Atleast the 2010 has some character.

It's growing on me, just very slowly. I just can't help but think Ford could have done so much better with the rear.
#13
i dont mind them. After seeing it in person it has grown on me some. I still like mine better.... thats because it is mine lol, but i am really starting to like the new rearend...... I have always been and will always be a *** man! lol

But this next picture got me thinking....
Could it be that the 2010 was based off of a '71? I saw the Blue Mach in the back and it just got me thinking...The rear isn't really too far off of a '71-'73...

I don't hate the backend. Just because it doesn't look like anything from some other mustang is fine. The car is suppose to evolve, not go backwards.
#17
Yeah....the 2010 is starting to grow on me a little bit....but the gt500's look like a dodge in the front.
I think I could own one....but only in grabber blue. That color is sick as ****.

love the front end, soo much, hate the rear, just how it slants inward/ the tails and just looks squashed. I have no problem with the black plastic.
And geeze if the V6 stang gets a 300hp motor, I am going to need a supercharger, can't be having no punk kid in a base model stang running door to door with me. I heard the V6 camaros with 300hp or whatever are peppy but aren't all that quick still, probably the weight will counter act alot of the power these new V6 cars are getting.

If you look at the muscle lines on the '71-'73s they're pretty identical to the 2010...just saying.

I like the black panel on the bottom, because it enhances the duel pipes in the back. GTO's did the same thing after the 04 models and they look nice. I'm just wondering what they'll add to the next 4 years models, and will they make the price just a little bit lower.. Times are still tough and I'm sure most of us will want a GT, with decent stock performance, that we can afford to buy. Anything over a GT is out of my price range. Which is why I don't own an 04 Cobra or even a Mach 1, dammit.

I hope that the 2011 has some type of badging (5.0) to set it apart from the 2010s so you can tell if the guy next to you has 315hp or 400hp though I am sure there will be a different sound between the too

They haven't officially announced the new engines so the less informed people will still buy the 2010 model mustangs.
#26
Yeah, they know but they don't want to loose customers who would gladly wait. I'm gonna wait for the 2015 model, then I can see what the next generation stang will look like, or maybe they are planning a nice package for the 2014 50th anniversary stang. LOL, I aint gonna buy nothing just yet,,

LOL, I'm mean seriously though. My 04 was stickered at 29 grand, After all day haggling and threats to walk, I got it for 23 grand w/ 7/75 extended warranty. I would have never paid full price for it.
I'm wondering if anyone can do that with an 010 model right now.. I'd bet not. Sticker is as sticker says..
