going to devry.

devry has a fantastic program for IT/Network administration. I wouldn't laugh at someone that went through their program and got a degree from it and I'm the kind of guy that hires said graduates. Devry is not a university and you won't learn english or history. You will learn from people who have day-jobs in the industry though and you'll come out with a solid base of skill that you can build on for the rest of your life.
You made a really smart move. This is a career, not a job. Keep in mind that your first "job" will probably pay for **** but you need to spend a couple years eating the crap work to learn all the stuff that will carry you through the rest of your life.
I've been a UNIX/Windows/Network admin for about 15 years. Some jobs suck, others rock but they all leave your hands clean at the end of the day and your clothes never smell like french fries.

Thats not really true at all. I know of a few schools whos diplomas are worthless and even the graduates from those private schools will agree it was a waste.

sometimes...it's as stressful as combat sometimes and boring as watching space get old others. The pay is fantastic though and you get to read people's email.
I work for a pr0n company and it still gets old sometimes... so yeah it does. But like driving a termy, it has its perks.
god only knows... he's pissed off a lot of people and I'm not gunna defend him this time so he's probably been perma-ban.T.
The secret to not getting banned is don't be a dick and don't ever ever attack a mod in an open forum.
