You have to take care of it or something will happen and it's not good.

Yeah I'm sure you can't. I was at court last year and there was a guy from Flodia I believe and he had to come back to take care of it or something. I forget, but it had to get done. My friend had to go back to California to pay off his tickets or something.

Slim GT or whatever is a cop, he's the best to ask about this.

You can't just ignore it.

if it's in another country you can ignore it but if it's in another state then you'll have a bench warrant in the other state if you just ignore it. Best to just pay the fine and include a note with the check that asks them to politely suck your dick, cradle the *****, stroke the shaft, work the pipe and swallow the gravy.

I wouldn't write that as for a note, because next time you're in that state and that's on file. The cop will be even more of a dick. I learned that the hard way.

Pay it. If you ignore it then they willl suspend your license. If they suspend your license and you get stopped....you'll get arrested and your car will get towed

Wait you can get arrested for having a suspended license? I got pulled over two or three times for having a suspended license and they didn't do anything. But take my license, write me a ticket and/or sometimes inpound my car.

I was thinking here in Maryland. My apologies. In Maryland you CAN get arrested for having a suspended/revoked license. Troopers arrest you for it. I release em on a must appear citation. Its a waste of time to arrest someone for something retarded like that...IMO.

Agreed, I don't even see the point. What's so bad that they're doing? You're already taking the car away and charging them.

You get arrested for a suspended/revoked license here too...so don't avoid this.

I once avoided a ticket I got for having an unregistered vehicle parked on the road (was a racecar I was building), but because it had no plates, no vin and wasn't directly parked in front of my house so the cop couldn't even identify the address = a big waste of time on his part.

You should be able to mail it in instead of wasting your time going down there.

I got that. But was he driving the right direction down a one way street? He didn't specify that. Cops don't usually give you a ticket for obeying the law.

I'm assuming the ticket was for him driving the wrong way down a one-way street, being as how he didn't know the area.

krenogin, why are you fighting the ticket? Just pay the damn fine and mail it in. It is a waste of your time and your gas to fight it. Technically, you still did wrong, even though it was unintentional, so I don't think the 'I was in an unfamiliar area and I didn't know it was a one-way street' excuse will fly, especially since they have signs that signify that the streets are one way.

With that being said, you should just be able to write a check and mail it in. My boss's friend got a ticket in Arizona and he lives here in Florida. He just mailed the ticket in.

He should of asked the cop where the sign was or look for it. He should be able to fight it if there is no visable signs indecating it's a one way street. If the cars are racing the wrong direction he should be able to win, if he has proof.

I guess you did specify, huh? Wow, I should look closer next time. Anyway, a guy was driving on the wrong side of the road here in town and got away with a 2 point ticket, 1 point after taking a wreckless driving class. But I think his fine was still $300...mostly for endangering lives, I'm sure.
