i really like the car it much better power then my mustang and handles great, the car was alot of fun to drive and my dad even liked it.
my dads a hard core American car buyer, he never owned a Japanese's car so thats saying some thing.lol
so after driving the evo im going to start looking for a lancer evo 9, and i hope to sell the stang this summer.

I've only owned 1 Japanese car (Acura Legend,) and it was great. It was totalled though . The rest of my cars have been German. The P71 that I will be picking up soon will be my first domestic car. I'm used to them though, as everyone else in my family drives Fords. FWIW, I have been hearing great things about the latest EVO. The last gen was ok, but there are too many around here that have been riced out. Kind of turned me off to the idea of owning one.

It makes me chuckle to hear people compare v6 mustangs to lancer evo's. Comparing a cobra to an evo is a fair comparison. Comparing a v6 mustang to a base model lancer is a more appropriate comparison.
That being said, I do like the Evo 8 and 9

x2 i'm with ryan thats like me say i drove a corvette today and its sooo cool compared to my slow v6 lol
just spray the 6 to hold you over like me lol. Don't get me wrong i would love to have a new car thats faster and cooler but car payments are not so cool. I'm just happy that my car only has 15k on it ans\d i know how its been taken care of since im the only owner

+1 to that. But if you compare them price wise the Evo is comparable to a brand new GT. You can find an 08 for close to 30k, which is what my GT cost me (not after the A-plan and everything). If I could have my choice and not feel bad about not buying an American made car I'd buy the Evo in a heartbeat.
Is the Evo pretty stock. When I was looking at them it was hard to find an older generation that wasn't messed with.

yeah every car can be faster, i would superchager my car if it still did not suck in the winter.
i thought the evo would be a good car all year long and still have good profomace and the all wheel drive would help with snow.
hell if i lived if ware its warm most of the time i would keep my stang.
