F***ing Thieves
So I get a call from Wells Fargo yesterday saying to give them a call cause they want to verify some transactions. Apparently some worthless ******** tried charging $800 at a Best Buy in New York with my account. That charge was declined, but they also charged $200 at a Foot Locker in New Jersey that went through. So no I have to fill out a stupid claims form and send it in to get my money refunded back and wait on a new card. The only bright side is, the fact they did it yesterday and not today when I would have much more money in my account.
It's one thing during these hard times for people to be stealing money to buy food or whatever, but try and spend $800 at freakin Best Buy and then $200 at Foot Locker, give me a break. Worthless sacks of ****.

Hahaha, so true.
Thanks man. Yeah I can only see things getting worse.

cause not every black person is a thug or a ni*ger, but the word ni*ger offends pretty much every black person when a white guy like me says it...so I dont use the word.

But I agree with Jack.. that's awesome that Wells Fargo helped you out. I've actually had Capital One decline some charges that I tried to make because they thought they were fraud.

I mean..what the hell..500 worth of ****?

ah man I'm sorry to here that. I also bank at wells fargo and had the same exact thing happen to me twice within a 6 month period. One time someone made a large purchase at an autozone in la, then 6 month later someone was making ATM withdraws at san diego ATMs. Wells Fargo took care of them, but it sucked.

Damn shitstains. You never see anyone stealing anyone's account information to buy something they need instead of something they want. You'd think they'd be more concerned with having food on the table, a roof over their head, and clothes on their back than with $800 worth of electronics and $200 worth of shoes.

I had this happen to me back in 2005 or 2006. Some one spent $2,800 on food or something in India with my credit card. My bank called me and asked me if I did this cause it was very unusual for my spending habbits. I said no and that I have never been there, and the bank of american said no problem we will handle this and that was that. One month later the chargers were gone and I was good to go.

Scary, but very common. I don't use any credit card numbers online, and even calling a company and giving it on the phone is bad enough. I used to have a punk kid living next door that worked for a hotel chain. He would use guests card numbers for pizza, beer, etc., and have it delivered right to the hotel lobby. Granted its not a $3000 TV or something, but it could be just as easily.
