Default WTF!!??!!??!!??

AM pisses me off omg. I ordered some h&r ss springs last week got them on thursday with one of them missing. A box with 3 springs if ******* useless. So i call them up thursday and they tell me after talking to another person that they themselfs are gonna send one out that same day but i would have to wait untill early this week because he could not over night it even though they f'd up. So after not getting it today and not ever having recieved a tracking number like he said called up today to see wtf was going on. I call tell the dude the info on what was going on he said hes gonna call h&r and ask what the tracking number is and call me back in 30 min. All the while i'm like wtf you said you were going to ship it to me and not them. Two hours later and no call back I call back and like wtf man i just want my spring. So he calls them and tells me that it's not gonna be her untill FRIDAY, more than a week since i got my other springs. I was like dude this isn't the first time you guys a\have messed up my orders and you can't do anything to get it here or to help me out in anyway WTF None the less they are not doing anything and i still have to wait till friday for my last ******* spring. Has **** like this ever happen to the rest of you? AM YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!

I've had 5+ orders without any problems. They did send a shorty antenna w/o one of the screw pieces I needed to fit...but they sent out a brand new one free of charge and didn't even ask for the other one back.

With the 10+ orders I have placed, I had one problem and it wasn't American Muscle's fault.

They are a distributor of certain parts, not a manufacturer. They just order a specific quantity of items from certain manufacturers and probably don't check all 100+ things that they order for parts, so it isn't necessarily their fault if something is missing.

That would be the only reason I can think of where they'd have to go through H&R with your problem. They ordered those springs from H&R and it arrived at their warehouse missing a spring. There's only so much they can do in that instance.

Never had a problem either. I know it sucks to get missing stuff, but it's not like you can't still drive your car in the meantime. People screw up. It happens. You just have to wait a little longer for springs.

I pretty much only use AM unless they dont cary something i want. Only had one problem, they sent 2 same sided calipers with my cobra brake kit. Called them up and they took care of it right away.

I've spend probably a couple thousand at AM/MT and I've never had a problem. Last thing I bought was my radiator and nothing wrong, before that my rear rims, with a bunch of little stuff in between and no problems with thoes. Just luck of the draw.

I'd say that 95% of money and stuff I've put into my car was from AM. Since my car is like crack, AM is my dealer and enabler. They feed my addiction with ease and repeated wonderful sensations of happiness and I can do nothing but thank them for that.

i dont think that AM stocks the springs at their warehouse. i know when i ordered my wheels and tires and springs..the springs took about 2 days longer cause it wasnt coming from AM

i now always double check what parts they stock and go pick them up lol.

That sucks but the reason it comes from H&R is that they missed putting a spring in the box not AM so they have to send you the missing spring.

Don't sweat it man **** happens you just gotta roll with it.

+1 H&R put 1 less spring in the box...not us. And we would do everything in our power to get the replacement sent out to you as quickly as possible in this situation. After the conversation with you, the rep you spoke to would then contact our Purchasing Department to inform them of the missing part. We have a good rep with most of our vendors so a lot of the parts we sell, especially if it is something under the AM name like headlights, we can get replacement/missing parts instantly sent out.

But sometimes with specialty parts the manufacturer might not have the part in stock, and it might take them a little while to get it sent it. And many times in this case, they just tell us "OK we'll send it out" and then don't inform us that there is an extenuating circumstance delaying it. Unfortunately that is something no one has control over except the manufacturer.

I don't see anything posted now, but you could always call and ask for the HR department. They would know best.
