Default Fog Lights WTF!?

So I go outside to my car to get a rubber gasket i had left in my car from the shifter install. Just messing around I wanted to see how my lights look against the garage. I turn on the lights and at first dont notice anything, the headlights look great. but no fogs??? I push in the light switch bezel to 1 click (fogs and blinkers) but no fogs!!!!! Whats going on here?? I installed new bubls recently. But they were working PERFECTLY yesterday....and for them to burn out at the exact same time makes no sense. What couldve happened? I'm going to check th bulbs tommrow, but I doubt its them....and to top it off in that 5 minutes I was outside I lost the rubber gasket :mumum:

Check to see if your bulbs are broken. The size 880 is a smaller wattage than your 899. i believe 880 is 27w and 899 is 31 so you could of popped them. replace your 880s with a higher quality bulb or go to 899. Also check your fogs for water inside the lense.

The aftermarket bulbs I have in there are 893...and it HAS been raining for the last 2 days....what if there's water inside the lens? are the bulbs still useable?

if they dont turn on, they probably popped. If there is water inside the lense, pull the bulb out and dry it out 100% with a hair dryer. Your best bet is to reseal the fog light or replace em like I did. My OEMs started leaking right about at 39k this past spring so I bought the clear fogs from here. My bulbs kept popping too with the oems. If the bulbs work, they are still usable - but im sure you read or heard not to touch the bulb because your skins oils can damage it and reduce the life

If your fogs dont turn on, they are unplugged or broken.

Ok, heres the deal. Its not the bulbs OR the housing. FOr somereason the DONT turn on and the bulbs are fine, I even put the Sylvannias that were in it when i got it, BACK in on both sides. They still dont work. The fuse that controls the fogs, does it control anything else?? This is confusing.

Yes my passanger side one leaks.
Better check your wiring then springs, or a fuse. Also take the bulb out, the fillament should be connected, not broken apart. Look for any type of small burn on the bulb near the middle.
