Default Damn Refridgerator.

So, the wife and i bought a new fridge. A nice black side-by-side one with the ice maker and water dispensor and such.

anyways, fridge shopping is a pain in the ***. Especially if you have cupboards above the fridge.

So i measured out, from the floor to the bottom of the cupboards 68 + 3/4 inches.

The first fridge we looked at was 70inches tall. We found another one by GE that was real nice that was 68 + 3/4 inches tall.

So i figure it will fit.

The fridge was delivered today, and it turns out i measureed it on the corner and it actually bows up a bit on the top. So now i have to shave off about 1/2 inch from the bottom of my cabinets.

WTF

this is gonnna be a pain in the ***.

My uncle had to do the same thing to his cabinets. He was pissed also.

I had a similar problem with my new fridge. Fits under the cabinets ok, but had an edge about 2 inches where the cabinet stopped that was an inch lower than the dam cabinets. I took a hack saw to it an evened it up..

And yes those cabinets are fcking useless. I can't reach them from the front of my fridge.

Oh and BTW I got stainless side by side fridge freezer/ with ice and water.. Just sayin...

I've got some beer bottles up there..........not the same is it.

Atleast you don't have a small fridge, it looks like I've got about 8-10" of room to grow above my fridge.

We have cabinets above our fridge, too. Stupid-*** things. I usually put kitchen things I only use every once in a while up there so they'll be out of the way. What a pain in the *** it is for me to have to climb up in a chair, get the **** out, and put it all back.

I finally got the sumbitch in there. Had to use a hand beltsander and just wear it down about 1/8th of an inch and it slid right in.
lol

yah we decided on black with traditional fridge texture cause of little kids and fingertips.
