Yes it will. The 550i has an almost identical horsepower (5 less), but only reaches that maximum torque at high rpms. The SHO reaches maximum torque at only 3500 RPM.

LOL...HP numbers and where they occur in the rpm range is not the only criteria that makes a car perform. I guarantee you that the BMW's chassis and suspension and brakes are far superior, thus making the 550i a better performing car. wonder which car weighs more.

Thats the top of the line motor for that car. Compare that to the top of the line mustang and you have way more HP then it does. Its like comparing a CobaltSS to an Excursion.
