what the hell is going on here? we have a huge problem with spam control. those are NEW postings as of this post. i suggest making new mods to patrol the forums. some of those mods needs to be the ones that are on most of the time. (like me.)

The posts are coming faster than the mods can keep up. Until the owners actually fix the problelms, perhaps adding a few more mods to help keep up?

a forum with this many members needs more than 4 regular posting mods...it would help a lot to delete the spam faster.

 

Because we do not have the power to add mods right now, thats why.

Which is really stupid. You should never leave the administration of the entire site in the hands of one person, because if something were to happen to that one person or he should disappear, the whole site would end up like this... permanently.

if it gets bad enough, we could start a new forum......

 

I wouldn't even consider that until maybe 6 months down the road if everything keeps getting worse. I mean, it isn't hard to do nor would it be expensive, but the fact that none of us have access to the database so we wouldn't be able to transfer all the users over. Everyone would have to re-register and we'd have to start from scratch.

Not really...

It's $10 per year for a domain name and hosting a forum takes bearily any bandwidth and space so if need be, I could just throw it on one of my servers.

Well..I've had the same shitty v6 stang for almost 3 years now, yay me!

 

Two of them were stock-car builds of mine, if that counts. Only 6 or 7 streetable cars. I get bored with my vehicles...This Mach 1 is the second longest I've had a car and I bought it last April.

(may I add that none of my cars have been wrecked, I simply got bored with them and upgraded)
