It's been unseasonably warm here for most of the winter, we are just now getting into cold temps. it was about 60 here last weekend and the low on Thursday is supposed to be like 5*.. Crazy temp. swings, then I forget where in Texas, I think it may have been Austin it snowed for the first time in like 60 years or some crap like that a couple of weeks ago.
There are definitely some very odd climate changes happening.
What does everyone else think? Global warming or Continent shift?

Yeah, without a doubt.. I really think we have some kind of continental shift going on. I theorize that because parts of the Americas are getting warmer while others are getting cooler.. Plus I just don't buy the whole "global warming" bullshit.

I think the weather is crazy just about everywhere. It's maybe a little below average here, and it's gonna get worse by weeks end...but a couple weeks ago, it was 68 degrees. Set the record by 3 or 4 degrees. We have had alot of freezing rain though.

Yeah Washington got really bad and then head towards Portland, Oregon area (my area), but Seattle got it bad. All highways were closed because of a flood.

Here in NC we are about to get that Artic blast thats sinking down the country. Our highs may not get out of the 20's possibly teens. Friday will be our coldest day of this year and last year too, if predictions are correct. We don't see many single digit temps, but looks like it may be here this week, and people here will suffer. when it drops below 20 degrees we always have problems, even if the suns out. Mainly busted water lines spilling onto roads and freezing, causing more wrecks than those O'Hare guys could keep up with..

Yeah I didn't see it or anything, just heard about it from my Superinvisor. Because our Truck from our main Warehouse in Auguna, it couldn't get through the passes to come to my WareHouse.

The weather has been a bit weird lately. For awhile it was pretty damn cold here, well cold for my area in Cali anyways. I don't really remember too many nights dipping into the 20s and now it's been in the 70s. Crazy stuff.
I don't fully buy into global warming. Sure I believe that all the pollutants has some sort of effect, but I also think that it's just the earth doing what it does. Look at all the changes earth has gone through, Ice Age, Big Bang (if you beleive it in), etc. Nobody was polluting then. **** happens.

It has been warmer than usual in central Florida, I think. We have had maybe like 5 or 6 really cold days (for us, those cold days are in the 30's) so far. I hate the cold. I will never leave Florida. I can't even fathom having temperatures that are like 14 below 0.
Like most of you know, I work at a brokerage firm. A lot of floor traders from the New York Stock Exchange, Chicago Stock Exchange, MF Global, etc., call our offices and talk to me, asking me how the weather is and telling me they're 'living vicariously through me'. Makes me love Florida even more and be glad that we have temps that are hardly ever any cooler than maybe the mid 20's at 5am and that we can be up to 60* or so by noontime.

Not setting any records here, but right now at 1:30 it's 25 degrees. That's cold for NC. We will be in the teens by tomorrow and highs maybe in the low 30's. Then on saturday we can expect it to get really cold with the wind chill. Thanks you guys up north, Who left the fridge door open dammit. Sunday will get back to the 50's here.
On the upside of all this. The days are getting longer and the sun is getting bigger. yeehaw spring is only a couple months away..
