Default Cold weather or hot weather?

Which extreme would you prefer to live in?

The scorching, over 100 degree, heat with droughts where water anywhere is a blessing and if even with tint and windshield covers, your car is so hot that it literally burns to touch the steering wheel or even if your legs touch the leather. and all you can do indoors is sweat and fan yourself and hope the a/c turns on soon...

Or the weather so cold that you have to bundle up so much or else you could catch hypothermia and have to let the cars warm up for 15 minutes before driving or else it'd damage the engine.

Which could you tolerate? Which could you never possibly live in?

I live in the southern part of NC. We have Very Hot summers and sometimes moderately cold winters. It might get in the single digits for a few days then the good ole southern sun comes back to thaw us out. I think if I had to live in either extreme temps. I would die in cold weather. Like in the topmost northern states. My body could not adjust. As for Hot all the time I could adjust without dying but I would struggle. It just depends on where you grew up and how your body has adapted. Short term evolution plays a role in this I think. Thats why I love NC it's nice here 75% of the time.

I hate the cold, you can't even drive, there is no such thing as traction, and everything hurts twice as bad. Atleast in the hot weather you can still work on your car, you might have to be half naked, but your hands still work!

The weather where I live is perfect from Jun 15th to about October 15th. Summers are awesome. Hottest day ever on record is only 95 and our average July high is 83 and our average Aug high is 79. It also gets cool at night all summer long. Usually at night it is in the 60's. Humidity is usually not bad either. I live in NE PA in the Poconos.

Spring takes forever to get started and Fall is too short as it always seems to turn right into winter.

You gotta be a homo to preffer the cold. <ROFL>

I spent January through September in Orlando (well Haines City actually) long ago....spring training was awesome and warm and the whole summer playing in the Florida State League was great. Probably one of the best summers of my life back in the day....damn I miss the good old days.

I'll take warm any day of the week over snow/ice/freezing wind etc that I get in St. Louis.
