Try xoxide.com, americanmuscle's sister site. Newegg always has good stuff. But I do not know where to go for opinions... try xoxide's forums.

okay my current graphic card is a Geforce 8500 GT 512mb. its okay, but its core clocking sucks.. and it won't o/c well at all... i play some games, but i mainly want a nice clean picture on a big tv for movies and such... if that helps with the graphic card ideas any??

i was looking at something like the 9600 GTX or something, but i have a ATI board, so i kinda wanted to cross-fire two cards, what are the pros and cons of ATI vs. Nivdia??

ATI generally performs better for your photoshop, and other things like that. Only the newest series of ATI's have really impressed me on gaming. NVIDIA kills in the gaming market. The BFG 9800gtx+ is one of the best all around cards you can buy. The 9800 outperforms most cards in a crossfire/sli format even. If I had to redo my system that's probably the only thing I'd change.

For gaming I've always been told to get NVIDIA and for photoshop, blah blah to get ATI.

i would love the BFG 9800+ GTX, but they are pricey just like any other really good new product for computers, i think i will just get a really nice older model when i do buy one..
