don't even think there's a site to upload them to. I'm probably wrong though. Wouldn't you need to be on an HDTV or something to view it? just like you need an HDTV to see HD television?

Computer monitors have been hi-def for years. Far before televisions caught up.

Wish I could help Venom, but I've never seen an HD site for uploading vids. Seems to me that Collin would probably know if there was one or not.

Nah, most people don't know that.. Even a lot of the old CRT monitors were hi-def. Learn somethin' new everyday!

they were HD compatible meaning they could produce the number of pixels needed to display a high def image, but they were slow and sluggish with responce, thier contrast wasnt very good, and they had a tendancy to blur, not to mention they lacked the HD tuners required to decode high definition signals.

it is a bit of a stretch to call them HD IMO....

yer gona have a tough time getting anyone to host that.... might just as well build yer own server and host it yerself.

i mean, full hd signal, thats gotta be a, lot of bandwidth, might just have to suffer and lower the resolution for streaming

I wouldn't call them HD televisions, by any stretch of the imagination. But the fact of the matter is that they were high resolution, much higher than televisions. And if you remember, most original "HD" televisions suffered from sketchy response times and didn't have built-in tuners. There is no doubt that TV's have surpassed PC monitors for, well, watching TV lol, but the fact remains that computers have been HD for years.

Thank you Captain Obvious. They were making the point that they've been around for awhile even though they haven't been used at their full capacity.
