I've never liked any of the remington guns I've used. They remind me a lot of my experiences with Dell computers. Good at first, but then crap out. Some people love them, but you'll sooner catch me with Carmen Electra than with a remington.

 

Remington makes fine firearms. Most of their prowess is displayed in their centerfire offerings though. I'll take a Remington 700 over almost any gun in the world for general purpose putting holes in stuff. Plinking though belongs to the 10/22 and a couple of the newer offerings from Rossi and Taurus (both of whom have turned their quality control way up in the last 10 years).

Not sure where that was taken, actually. But I'll see if I can track any pics my brother took when it was in town. I personally didn't see any of the convention (stayed out of town, 'twas too busy), but my brother was...I'll see what I can find.
