+1 on people looking out for you. I just lost a friend of mine yesterday because he raced someone on a public street. Lost control and hit a light pole. So be careful because once again it can happen to anyone even if you think it will never happen to you.

aside from the dangers of street racing...

stop giving mustang drivers bad reputations with police and other drivers! when 16 year olds with lead in their shoes get a new mustang from dad on their birthday they tend to let everyone on the road know about it. respect your car, respect its history, respect everyone on the road and, most importantly, respect yourself. don't do anything stupid that would endanger you or anyone else around you. i've seen far too many kids (not only in mustangs) speeding through traffic and weaving in and out of lanes and it just gives the younger generations a bad rap. do yourself a favor, do something positive for your demographic.

im almost 22 and i still get picked on by the police because i drive a mustang (no, i don't drive like an idiot, my car happens to be a very noticeable color and a little loud) and frankly im sick of it.

cliff notes: stop being a jackass, take it to the track, dont drive like a dumbass!

Hey Dave, sorry for your lost. Our prayers are with you and the family.

Why dont you guys park the cars and go in the backyard and BEAT THE **** OUT OF EACH OTHER, last one standing wins all. No weapons. Whopping his *** is going to mean more than whipping his car. Then you get up dust yourself off, shake hands and go inside and have you mom fix you glass of KOOL-AID !

Now as far as dumbasses go, "Street racing" ...........need I say more?

my car isn't real loud. but definitely aftermarket. and it isn't a real noticeable color. but, i'm 20, and still look like i'm 16-17 and whenever i drive by a cop they just stare at me. i'm always paranoid even though i alway do the speed limit. damn gas and insurance. i can't afford a ticket so i just don't speed. but, they always stare me down and sometimes turn around to follow me just because i'm young and have a fast car. but, i've never been pulled over in it! been pulled over more in my mercury mystique lol

Thanks man, it was a nasty crash. Car went up in flames after hitting the pole so hopefully he passed on impact and not in the fire. Wasn't best of friends with him but its still aggravating loosing someone you know for such a poor decision. And it's a shame at only 20 years of age.
