SLP Powerflow Experience...(and a question for venom)
well...venom is right, they kick ***. not so loud cruising and decently loud WOT, still have to wait for them to break in a lil. i took it for a drive around the neighbor hood and i could actually drive the car instead of goosing it. it surely has that classic muscle car sound. i can hear myself think!! lol.
but i do have a question for Venom..did you have a problem getting the rear clamp on the passenger side muffler to clamp? the pipe moves with the clamp all the way fastened. im going to go to a muffler shop to have all of the connections tack welded just for safety.
i will get a video later tonight when im done workign on my buddies GTI..i have no idea what im getting myself into..he hasnt told me what he bought..its a surprise

White....its just the one clamp that doesnt wanna hold....just gald to hear that its just not me...
i drove about 20 miles just now and wow..i could hear them just getting louder as i drove. each take off from a stop was different in sound and volume. i cant wait till these will be at full volume!!!! and my o/r h makes it all the better. now cops dont look at me weird cause i actually have tailpipes! (i dumped my packs)
it may take more than a year cause i have only driven it 2000 miles since october. lol

Im glad you like them. The clamps will get loose when they heat up and will require that you retighten them. Just remember that the Pflows fit different than the 1 or 2 so dont try and line them up like the 1s and 2s.
Doesnt it feel great to be able to hear yourself, just be careful at WOT as its loud. Ask a buddy to drive your stang so you can gauge how loud it is.

Slps pop when you get real high on rpms and let of the throttle due to the straight through design. The powerflo pop the least but it still can be heard when you let off. The powerflo mufflers are still loud but you will not notice it while driving the car. Its a different sound than what most are use to but far from rice.
