Thanks, I had to go back and reread this thread to refresh my memory. I'll have to go and check it out but it may be a while til we can do anything to either cars now, since we are on order for Germany. But I love looking at what other people have done with theirs.

Tuff you got a good memory, he was home for a few weeks and had to go back to finish out the tour. He will be home for good in May. Just long enough to pack and sell the house and go to Germany. woohoo.

define decient putput.
I have added ported/polished heads. a superchips flashpaq, cai, longtubes, hiflo cats and new exhaust to my RT and still can't get more than 320rwhp to the ground.
lol
at least it's getting closer to what it's advertised at.
but drifting a 4400 pound boat is indeed a good time.

What exhaust do you have? That's the one thing we are definitely going to do. The stock makes it sound like a 4-banger!

funny..my buddy just bought one. i'm gonna share the rest of the pics when I get done editing. he loves the damn thing. 5.7L RT AWD. It's fun. Not very fast though. I expected more. It's super clean, leather interior, navigation, heated seats, big sunroof, lots of room, etc. Its fast for him, considering he went from a 150 hp volvo.

That is a sweet magnum. I really like the grill and the hood. The paint is not quite my style but it looks good. I'll be checking out the forum.

I gotta ask, what u doing on a mustang forum? Do you also own a mustang? Or just here for the hell of it?

Stephen, change the rate of the sig to a 2 second pause between each gif, and make sure they're all the same size so the ******* thing doesn't move. haha

Yep, we'll be there in sometime in early August. Not sure exactly where yet. His AKO message said Darmstadt, but his 1Sgt said his orders read Vilseck i.e. Grafenwoher!! So we'll just see, it's all Germany and we are glad to not be deploying for a while.

I have a brother already there in the Air Force at Spangdelhem. So we'll be able to visit family too.

Where are you located? Are you in the service or over there as a contractor? Are there any good mustang clubs to hang with over there? What do you know about shipping my stang, I have straight pipes and I was wondering if I will need to put mufflers on to pass inspection? And any other tips you might have would be great.

I'm in the air force and work on ramstein. I live in landstuhl not the base but the village i love it here. i dont want to leave but my extension request was denied, oh well. the local club posts on mightymustangs.net, the site is being updated since it crashed yesterday but should be up and going later today. pretty every mustang enthusiasts thats either german or american posts on there. shipping 2 cars is pretty easy i shipped my mustang through the 2nd POV deal with transcar and i paid just under 2 grand . i shipped my subaru on orders so that was free and easy. all you need to ship to germany is current registration, a letter from the lein company saying its ok to ship thats of course if you have a lein on the car. A titled car is a little more paper work but still easy you just need notarized copy's of the title and thats about it. Ill give you the most common fails for vehicle inspections over here when it comes to cars. the most are leaking gaskets, window tint (sides only), loud exhaust, worn tires usually because of outer tread, holes caused by rust, worn ball joints, worn tie rods, leaking struts/shocks and sometimes brakes. you shouldnt have a problem with passing inspection but pack your mufflers just in case.

the drivers test isnt all that bad either...i had problems with the signs i missed like 10 of the 15 sign questions but didnt miss the common sense stuff. you cant miss more than 15-16 questions. the new troops in my shop have to take it 2 times because they dont bother to study.

if you think you will have room with your household goods some people may ask to have some things shipped to your house so they can get packed up with your things...helps us over here with shipping. I.E bumpers, hoods, k-members, transmissions and even motors.
