Default funny stealership

i was looking at this beautiful mustang convertible on a stearlership web page, and at first they said it was a 4.6L DOHC 32V engine, looked and no just a SOHC. then started reading more. the tire size they have for saleen replicas is 265/75/16 that would be a crazy big tire, for a small rim.... started to talk to them about the car. and from the pictures i can tell them more about the car than they know it seems... it was a trade in... really funny... would go look in person, but its near Houston and thats and 7-8 hour drive... so only if i get a good deal will i drive there to see it..

ppl at dealerships are retards. Last summer ford sent me a letter saying they would like to pay me top dollar to buy my car back. I went up there to see if they had any termie's. I walk in and ask if they have any 03-04 cobras because that would be only way id trade my car in. The salesperson looks at me and tells me thats not the kind of car they would have at dealership and i would have to order 1 of those from the factory. I then pointed across the street at the lincoln dealership and was like well they have 1 right there out front. He then told me it must be fake and "you can do anything to cars, i've seen all kinds of stuff. I've even seen a V6 with cobra badges on it." I asked him how he would like me to order a car that is 3-4 years old from the factory and i got a blank stare as a response. By the way "top dollar" for my 1999 GT with under 30,000 miles on it was $7,000 according to ford lol

Lol...

The crazy thing about a lot of dealers is not only do they not know jack **** about thier products, but they can be condensending as hell.

You SHOULD have told him you recently hit some money, and if he can get you fresh 03/04 cobra that you would write him a check right then and there. Then when ge gets excited and goes into the back office you could just bail while he is looking like a ******* retard in front of his whole sales team asking to have a new out-of-production car ordered from the factory.

I remember going into Phil Long Ford here in denver to get a chin spoiler a few years back. Took forever for the parts guys to find the part i was looking for, and oddly enough it is a chin spoiler off an 2002 Mach 1, for some reason the ford parts book had 02, 03 and 04 chin spoilers, with the 02 being 40 bucks cheaper than the 03 and 04.
ANYWAYS, while i was there one of the parts guys started telling me that mach1's were just made out of leftover cobra parts.... not sure how that worked either since the machs and cobras were made the same years... lol...plus the mach 1 hood and shaker setup and rims were all custom designed for the mach 1 production...

I really hate going to dealerships cause im always disappointed in how arrogant and condensending a lot of them are. Plus they want to sell you an 18,000 car for 19,000 then tack on an extra $2,000 in fees and charges and give you 20% under KBB for the trade in.
