Didn't even want a race...just driving home after a long day and there's a 360 (either a modena or a stradale...couldn't tell) doing 55 in a 55 zone in the fast lane. Talk about irritating hehe. I had my cruise set at 60 and he didn't get out of the way so I go to pass from the slow lane. Road was basically empty, long, straight and flat. He didn't appreciate that pass I guess and decided to run it up a bit and stay on my fender to keep me out of the fast lane.

After a little goading on both sides he decided to crank it up a notch he pulls to a few lengths behind me and I can hear he's not winding it out at all and we're doing 60. I go to 3rd and smack the mule in the jewels and he's keeping up ok but not passing me and then I hear his exhaust note change (downshift) and it starts to sing and I power shift 4th just when it looks like I might be holding my own and f000000m he's 2 lengths ahead of me like I'd stopped or something. He didn't stay in it much past the pwnt point. It was damned near a ricer flyby but I was in fact spanked.

Later on I ended up behind some asshat doing 35 in the fast lane in a 55. I dropped to 2nd and laid a ] shaped patch of rubber around em'. Funny as hell.

The combined adventures cost me 1/8th tank of gas.

those 360s arent fast...not slow but not fast...

on the other hand i have come up on a sick black f430...and wow. i wasnt racing either i just hit the gas a bit to get his attention! then he gave me a rev and downshift! GOD THEY ARE SO SEX!

ferrari owners are the ****...most of them actually know what they are doing and can drive...not asshats like other exotic owners.

 

oh fer goodness...would you guys just call it a race already...lol...everybody and this "but it wasnt a race" stuff...if you go fast and he goes fast on a street then it is by definition one of them things....but i agree...ferraris rank high on my coolest cars to race list



1. 350z - always looks cool...easily beatable so loads of fun to humiliate
2. charger rt - big overweight slug...always beatable...even the srt8 is a slug...owners in denial
3. q35 - not so easy but he will lose anyway
4. ferrari - just looks awesome to race...dont care win or lose its fun
5. corvette - feel like a real american racing one...always gonna lose but feels right
6. camaro - legendary match...will always race...toss up depending on opponents upkeep of an old car
7. porsche - surprisingly close...except on a highway...but in the quarter...not so impressive...if you can...race a boxter for fun...then you can say you smoked a porsche
8. bmw m3 - i hate this car...worse because its not american and such an *** kicker of a beast
9. viper - every owner i meet is a an arrogant ***...thing leaves me at the light like i'm standing still...ferrari owners are cooler
10. mazerati - good race...neck and neck until you hit an open stretch

 

To me, nothing sounds better then a Ferrari. I love their V8s.
