Just played with my new camera.
I just got a Nikon D40 and tried it out. I thought I'd share a few shots. I have a lot to learn and could really use a tripod.

and I think you and pcola are going to blend together very soon. You two need to do a shoot together. It would be like dbl stuffed oreos! extra awesome. lol

Dont listen to PCola, the D40 stops everything canon makes for less than $1000.

Bit of advice on the D40, when yer learning to shoot stick with P Mode and use the exposure adjustment as needed. Then start working at Shutter or Aperature priority. Manual is good for the trick shots, 90% of my shots are in A mode. For the love of got stay OUT of the portrait, landscape, action modes and such. lol

Thanks I am not a sony fan period but I don't know much about their DSLR
