or someone who doesn't like getting gouged by paypal. Feedback is usually a good indicator.
I paid with a money order once, got scammed, seller said the MO never came. Got my refund from USPS.
Then USPS sent me a letter asking for the money back because someone cashed the money order. I told them to screw off, and they did.

paypal is worth the 3%. at least when they gouge you they get your money back from scammers for you in return.
feeback can be manipulated so it's a good idea to actually read the feedback. look for signs of shill buy and sells.

They'll get your money back if the scammer was stupid enough to leave the money sitting in his account. If he withdrew the money by the time paypal's keyboard jockies get around to refunding you (atleast a month), then you are SOL

I was just cruzin ebay and saw it. Just looked really weird. ie: thats really cheap for a set of Roush(even used or slightly used like the seller says),only 50 dallors for shipping? He already sold them once for 1025 which seems more reasonable. And the feeback could go both ways(maybe the buyer feel through, got pissed and gave the seller a bad feedback or maybe the buyer have reason to believe a possible scam. And I've heard( never experianced) Paypal not being able to do anything but file some paperwork for you and thats pretty much the end of things and your money. But still, I only make purchuses using paypal but you still have to look at EVERY part of the ad. I'm a lil paraniod thats prob why I seldom but too much on ebay. OH, and $5 for insurance? thats like insuring a letter. I just wish no one had to worry about shopping online and wonder if their hard earned money might be lost to a no goog internet theif.

I don't use E-bay for that reason. When I buy something from a big reputable online company like amazon I don't worry though.

Winning bid was $660 this time. We'll have to see what transpires now.. Maybe he's just an e-bay rookie, with only 4 transactions.. He doesn't give much info on the rims and he doesn't use paypal. Lots of people don't like to use paypal cause it cost's money to use. Money order is next best thing. Personal check? Forget about it. Not gonna do that.. Lets give the guy a chance.. Feed back looks bad because of the number of transactions he has made.. 1 bad feedback with 4 transactions is 25% bad feedback.. But I personally won't deal with anyone who has so few e-bay transactions.. And feedback is way important. Plus paypal is a must..

Its all in the wording of the last rating..."paid with pay pal...but seller switched to money order after..." that reeks of scam....
buy some small cheap crap, get good ratings.....then start your scam. plus look at the account name....its just not right...
