If I had a mach, I'd probably put custom emblems on it too. People who don't know mustangs real well can't always tell a mach from a gt, why not make it stand out a little more?

as for mine chrome 281 emblems wouldn't be because the GT Emblems are chrome.

i wouldn't have a problem with the horse just being black...but with the white bones airbrushed on their, that looks really ricer
Apparently you have an extremely skewed version of what is or isn't ricer.

This is Rice:

Badges drawn on with a sharpie or painted with a brush used for painting your walls, body kits hung on with duct tape and wings on FWD cars.

Custom painted OEM emblems, not so much.

im not saying black pony badges are a bad thing.

im saying if you get black pony badges, with bones airbrushed on, that would not look good.

the black pony badges are fine...just no airbrushed bones.

Apparently you really have never seen a car with Autobadges custom emblems have you? People have commented about Swervo's mach... They aren't skelly's but they are black custom emblems.

blue on black doesn't look good to me...black on blue looks good.

but like i said whatever. the blue accents look way out of place on that car.

if they were chrome, i wouldn't have a problem with it.

Plum-crazy purple badges would really set off the accents in the 8" shorty antenna.

Hehe, not going on the Mach, I'll be putting them on my GT. The GT is the one that has the Black pony w/ skeleton on the front grill.

I actually like it when, for what ever reason, people pull up on me in the Mach and think its a V6. It happens more often than you would think, then the light turn green and the Mac O/R prochamber screams to life. But, beside that, the Mach has the 40th Anniversary Badge, gotta keep that.

Thats cause yer average person cant see any father than the fender badges to determine what kind of mustang it is.

You could put a cobra emblem on a bone stock v6 stang and most people will actually think it is a cobra.

they are 4 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 wide, i have them on my 07 GT (which has two guide holes in the fender) and they cover the holes but you have to be dead on to cover them, if memory serves the 99-04's have only one guide hole behind the emblem so they wont be as picky on a 99-04. i got mine from greatlakesclassics.com these things are like impossible to find on their website but if you have the Scott Drake part number there is a request form you can complete to order them and get pricing.

the part number is: S2MS-16228-A

these are the reproductions of the emblems that were used by shelby on his cars in the 60's
