Looked into Tech Skills last week, and liked what I saw. I'm not 4 year college kind of guy, but I'm really good with computers, network stuff, web design, and graphics design, but I have no certifications.

I've been talking about this forever, and i finally thinking about doing it.

good thing is since I don't know what's going to happen with my arm, they are willing to allow me to enroll now, but put me on medical leave of absence, until my arm heals, and then allow me start courses.

It's like $7,300 for 14 months of courses. So from the time I start courses I have 14 months to take all of the classes that I want, and get all the certifications that I want.

I'm gonna talk to a friend of mine, and see what he thinks about it.

I'd like to know if anyone on here has been to Tech Skills, or heard good or negative stuff about them, or knows of anyone who had a good or bad experience with them, etc.

yeah webdesign and stuff like that does not seem like good money but it really is.

i play in a clan that plays like every game in Cal. and the leader of the clan is in the web design career and lives by himself in canada, has his own house, pays 100-300 a month for servers, depending on donations, has a 08 civic and has some extra money in the pockets

 

I got accepted to the school, discussed it with the family, and they were supportive, so i went today after my docs appts, and signed the papers, and i will start on January 7!

Should be able to get quite a few certifications, and get a decent job and get my foot in the door somewhere.

i can't wait!

 

so what course of study are you going to take, Information Technology is rather wide range of study!

congrats on going back to school....School can suck, but it's WELL worth it in the end. I think computers are a good field for you since you hate people so much. ha ha ha
