Default Jack Jr is home!

Yep!

We got him back on sunday. He is doing great, his chest looks good, he will have very little scarring.

he kept us away all night on sunday untill about 5:30am. lol... little pain in the butt. So yesterday we kept him awake as much as possible to get him back into the right sleep shedule.

So he was in the hospital a total of 30 days this visit. 11 days the prior, and 7 days the first time. a total of 48 days for a kid who is about 3.5 months old.

They had to go through his chest, they replaced his Mytral valve with a mechanical one since tissue(pig) valves wont work well in that spot.
He will be on blood thinners indefinatly, and will need another surgery in 10 years. Hopefully by then western medicine will have a better solution that wont require blood thinners.

All i can say is that the Cardiologists, Nurses, Physicians Assistants, and Surgeons are Childrens Hospital do some amazing work. With anything less than thier awesome care i wouldnt be a father today. Been some rough times but now he is back home and we can focus on figuring out some sort of a family life.
lol..

thanks for all the support!

1hr after surgery.

1 week after surgery

2 weeks after surgery

Yeah we tied the knot. I dont think ill ever meet another girl quite like this one. Just went in and signed the papers, we are planning the wedding to be 1 year from when we actually got married. lol...

I honestly cant explain how happy i am with this chick. Thank god that she is the one i knocked up. lol. I think to some of the other bags i dated and i feel like i won the lottory as far as unexpected pregnancy goes.

We have been together just over a year now, and damn, we have already been through more than most couples that are celebrating thier 3rd or 4th anniversary. Even during the hardest parts of this she always had a smile for me. Thats a hard trait to find.

Oh yeah, the rings are nothing too fancy, hers was 1600 and mine was 300.
lol

mine is just a flat band of tungsten steel. holy crap this stuff is tough. I was carrying cinderblocks the other day and heared one grind against my ring, thought well, there is my first scratch.
Not a scratch on it. This **** is damn near invincible. lol.
The bad thing is if this ever gets pinched down the only way to remove it is to remove my finger, pull it off the stump, then reattach the finger. I guess they dont have anything that can really cut it in the way of hydrolic clippers. So other than cutting my finger off, they would have to cut it with heat which would burn my finger off anyways.

thats gangsta

Jack...

fantastic news and you have a beautiful child. Seeing those pics is heartwrenching to me. I have 4 kids and my oldest spent his first week of life in an incubator and I thought the world was ending for me and my wife..

You're brave little guy there has been through 1000X more than mine did.. as have you and mommy as well. You guys are very blessed. Enjoy every minute of it. They grow up fast.
