YES I have and do ocassionally hook up a pc to my 37" Olevia hdtv. It's pretty cool. I bought a nice little lap sized wireless keyboard with mouse built in. You can kick back 10 feet away and surf. I don't have mine set up this way currently because I needed the vga hookup for something else. I really don't need a pc on the tv anyway really. My modded xbox does so much more than a media pc could ever do.

well arent you special....lol..im just messing. the reason i have it hooked up like this is because i am taking this tv up to college and i wouldnt be able to survive with the 12.1" screen the laptop has. so this is a nice step up. lol. this eliminates having to have a monitor, laptop, and tv up there.

now im off to play forza...bitches

lol... Didn't mean to come across as bragging or anything... HAHA!! I just get excited about that kinda stuff. lol... My setup is nothing special. I just got the biggest tv I could get last christmas for around 700 bucks. Not sure if you have one or not but if you mod chip an original xbox they make the best "media machines" evar! lol.. yeah I know what you mean though. It's cool to have one display due multiple things. You know another option you might consider is a kvm switch. You could maybe do something like 2 separate computers through your one vga input on your tv or maybe you could have something like a computer and your xbox 360 going into a kvm switch. That way you could do ultra quick switching back and forth. For instance your playing Forza, then you pause the game, push the button on the switch and you are now lookin at your computer desktop on your tv. You check and send a quick email or whatever and then with a click of a button your back on Forza. I used to run that setup before I got my hdtv and I was playing my 360 through a 19" lcd monitor. It worked out really nice!

Ah yes, after I typed that I figured it would probably make more sense for you to use the component input for your 360. The reason I'm using the VGA for my 360 is I am using both of my component inputs for my original modded xbox and ps2. I had a vga cable already for my 360 so I just used that. Nice to know there are others here that are into stuff like that. hehe.. Are you watching any hi def channels through yours? I have a cheap antenna in my attic and it picks up a few of the basic channels that come in hi def. It's awesome! I can't stand to watch non-hdtvs now. lol...

im not watching any high def. cause i just bought the tv today. took me a lil to figure out how to setup the pc to hdtv. lol. then i hooked up my 360 and ps2 and my make-shift surround sound (basically a stereo with big *** speakers lol) im ok with watching tv in non hd cause i dont really watch much tv cept the discovery channel and speed. im more concerned with video games being crisp. lol. id like to get digital cable but the parents dont want to.

I sometime hook my laptop up to my 42"DLP t.v. It looks pretty sweet. I believe you can watch t.v. and work on the computer at the same time if you do the picture in picture function. Don't quote me on that for all t.v.s though.

I have to say it is pretty sweet having a 26" or bigger computer monitor.

it unbelieveable. i thought that it was the sh*t to have an 18.1" computer monitor..but a 26" widescreen is insane!!!
