Default need your advice

at my work we got a 40th aniv GT its white with the gold stripes and goldish bullit rims with the mach 1000 stero system as well as leather seats. Only has 18,456 miles or so on it. There asking 17k or so and i can get it for 15,900. If i trade in my car i could get 11-12k which means i would only have to pay 6k or so out of pocket. Worth it or no?

I say no, you should never buy something spur of the moment just because it's a good deal and it falls in your lap unless it's exactly what you've been wanting for a long time.

For example, it's quite possible that you've wanted a V8 mustang for a long time. But odds are probably not a white GT with gold stripes. You should really try as hard as you can to resist the temptation and instead continue to save and get what you really want...Maybe a Torch Red Mach 1 or a Cobra.
Because to be honest, 2v's really aren't very impressive anymore .

Youll get used to it pretty quick. I drove a stock 04GT at work and it was slow as dog **** compared to mine. I laughed how I used to think mine was fast back when it was stock. If you look around, you could probably find one with bolt ons or something already done to it. Thats really not too good of a deal. Im sure theres better out there.
