Question about headlights.

Question about headlights.
First and foremost, Hello, and thank you American Muscle for providing this forum. With that said, I am a newbie. Both to this forum and to owning a Mustang. I recently bought a used 2000 Silver Mustang Convertible from a family friend. I have loved every second that I have had it. Now that the car is mine, I have been looking to simply make it more personalized for myself... I added the MUSTANG decals to the letters on the back of the car, which I really like. The next step for me is my headlights. I don't like them (both looks and functionality). I have been looking around at headlights and have basically come down to two different sets. Set 1 and Set 2. Set 1 is the one I think I like more, but set 2 I like as well. The only thing stopping me from buying them this second, is that I don't feel comfortable buying something like that without being 95% certain that they will not only look cool (I know they will) but will actually have the same visibility as my current ones, if not better. I would prefer better visibility (which I know, getting better bulbs helps too). Ok... Anyway, the question I have is this: Can anyone show me or tell me about these lights? I am looking for customer reviews here. Are they good, bad? Will they increase my visibility at night? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you so much for reading this and hopefully answering it, and I am glad to be a fellow mustang owner now.

welcome to the site. Alot of us on the site are not big fans of aftermarket headlights such as the projectors, i guess you could call us traditionalists. Either one you choose though is going to offer the same visibilty as your current ones, since you are reusing the stock bulbs when you get these. If you want slightly better visibility get a set of Silverstars or whatever they are called light bulbs from Am as well. They will make things just a tad brighter.

i have the projectors with the LED's on my 06 and i love them, looks and functionality are there as far as in concerned... but these are definately a hard thing to get an opinion on because people either love them or hate them... they are strictly for looks though as was previously stated you get some slight increase in visibilty, but nothing drastic... think about fogs if you need more light...
