Default goddamn road construction

Well i was on my way to work yesterday and there was some construction goin on. They were cutting out some blacktop for manholes so it can be freshly done...

Well I was driving down the road and some damn bastard was hoggin the yellow line and I couldnt stop or scoot over so I went over this 6 inch deep 90 degree pothole. That **** bent the lip of my rim. It didnt pop the tire and I dont think I broke a belt because it seems to be in place. The car is driveable but its sitting here at home. I really need to win this months GT40 rim contest so I can just get new tires cuz mine are going bald.

Ill get pics tomarrow.

Yeah I bounced out of my seat and my mirror dropped down. it was a really solid hit. Alignment isnt too far off but Im quite sure that tire isnt balanced anymore. lol

I might just take the tire off the rim and see how well I can repair it. if it cracks I could just scoop another rim up. Ive been thinking about painting my rims mineral grey anyways and repair some of the rash and clearcoat thats peeling. I think that might look pretty sweet.

Holy sh*t!!!! Is your fender ok? Or did it just brutalize your wheel? Not that "just" hurting your wheel isn't bad enough.

Damn thats weak sorry to hear about that. I swear the roads are rediculous sometimes i had a 4 foot peice of rebar fly up from a truck in front of me a few months back and nail my front bumper almost breaking my clear fogs and it took a big spot of paint off. Maybe its god telling you its time ot mod? lol

Every single road down here is under construction. You cant have a show quality paint if you drive around S FL.

The problem is that all the expressways have construction plus the real estate boom has a bunch of trucks carrying gravel. I have tons of rock chips on the stang and 1 on my 1month old Lex.
