What's Your Insurance?
Ok.. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 20.. If you have a GT ('99-'04), or higher.. What is your Insurance /mo..?
Do you have any Tickets/ accidents, etc..?
My insurance on the 6 is about $60/mo liability/ comp./ glass/ medical (up to $500,000) etc..
I have no accidents, no tickets, nothing.. And when I turn 21 I will qualify for a lower Ins. bracket called 30/60 that used to be reserved for 25+y/o with less than 2 tickets in 3 years and no accidents..
My dad is my Ins. Agent and I know that he doesn't believe I should think about getting a GT because of the gas/ higher insurance.. blah blah blah.. and I think he is quoting me higher then it really is..
lemme' know...

I got my GT when I was 20 and at the time had a 95 V6 as well. With full coverage on the GT and liability on the V6, I paid just over $100 a month. I don't remember the specifics, but I do know that I have the lowest deductible offered to me on the GT. That was with a PERFECT driving record and having had my own insurance since I was 16. I think I got a slight multi-car discount as well, but that is not that much.
I know you specifically wanted to know about 99-04s but I figured this might get you in the ballpark.

I pay $1,100 a month for my BMW 325i and my Mercedes c32 amg. Im only paying that for a few months till i finish repairing my 325i from a small accident and i sell it. Then im just going to be paying $600 a month for the benz.
but remember im young, have a few tickets, wrecked my old mustang into a tree, and i live in miami.

Lets see... 1600 every 6 months, full coverage, I'm covered on my Stang and the F250, 18, two tickets, no traffic school on either. (The second ticket I will be going to traffic school, haven't been to court about it yet.)
My first ride was going to be a GSXR 750... 600 bucks a month for full coverage (have to be full coverage when buying it..can't have just liability) my dad and i laughed..and went and bought the stang ;x

I had shopped around man, It all depends on where you live and such, miami is an area with a lot of traffic, a lot of drugs, a lot of people with no licenses, a lot of drinking and driving, lots of accidents and such, here everyone i know pays over $400 a month for insurance,

Well, it pays to be a long time customer of an insurance agency. I pay $846 a year for my GT. and my wifes concorde is $680 per year. No tickets ever on either cars. No claims for the last 13 years..
On both cars: if we crash someone (liability)
100,000 each accident
75,000 each person
Actual cash value of either or both cars.
Uninsured motorist: If a drunk with no insurance hits me or her:
100,000 each accident
50,000 each person
the rating symbols for my GT are 021-021 00
------------- wifes concorde are 014-014 00
I'm happy. Hell, I can afford to drive a Freaking Cobra I think a Cobra rating is like 24 or maybe 26??
Oh and BTW this is with Nationwide
