if you're on your moms insurance policy then that seams kinda high. if you're on your own which it doesnt sound like you are then thats really low.

im 22 and my insurance on 2 vehicles is about 600-650 every 6 months.

if you are on your moms insurance and she has a bad driving record blame her.. lol

$950 for a 6 month policy for full coverage, $500 deductible.. this is on my parents policy but I'm listed as the primary driver right on the policy (I'm automatically rated against the most expensive car which is mine anyways ).. no tickets, no wrecks, haven't even been pulled over once, but I'm only 20

do yourself a favor and if at all possible get your own policy. 3 years from now you will be greatful that you did, and barring any accidents or tickets, a gt or even a cobra will be relatively cheap. If you go on your mom's policy now, when you get ready to have your own, you will still have a higher rate for a period of time, even though you would have been driving for while. I understand money can be a factor, but if possible, get your own.

i have full coverage and a $250 deductible but i have an excellent driving record also my mom has a perfect driving record. no tickets or accidents in 20 something years so they put me in the same rate group she is in. that was back when i was on her insurance but even now that im on my own they kept me in the same rate group.

you have to rememeber, that it has to do with your inexperience as a driver, the fact that the car is only 2-3 years old, and it is a vert. I would say that is a reasonable price for you on your mom's policy. If that is all you, then that is one heck of a deal, but I highly doubt it is

I pay $810 every since months....I'm 28 with a perfect record, $500 deductible and full coverage......Insurance companies are a freaking rip off by the way.....I figure that if I paid $1620 a year since I was 16, the insurance companies have got me for almost $20g's.....and I've never put in one claim! Your welcome All State and Progressive!
